What is the price of the Chanel flats (classic plain leather with patent toe) in the UK? My friend will be going there to study for a few months and I was thinking of getting her to bring me back a pair since they're so expensive in Canada.

Does the Chanel boutique reimburse you for the VAT on the spot? (Or do any other stores that carry Chanel in the London/Manchester area)?

Would it be cheaper to purchase them from Europe over the phone and have them sent to the UK? Would you get the VAT taken off? Would there be import charges?
