Chanel Two Tone Hose F/W 08.09

I bought a pair of the Urban Outfitters one and have to admit I'm more impressed than I thought I would be. I also saw a lace pair with the black back part, but did not get them. Unfortunately, the Chanel at my Galleria doesn't have the tights... :'( I really wish I could find them at a store somewhere.

This is my first try to wear the UO tights:

I'm quite satisfied with them, I ordered size M/L because I don't like my tights too small, otherwise they feel weird on me. This is a really nice alternative to the Chanel tights which are way too expensive for me.

i got my UO version of the tights a while back but haven't gotten around to wearing them yet... may have to do so at some point this week i'm thinking...

*also, aris did i see in secret shopaholics that you got a pair of the actual chanel tights? let us know what you think when they arrive!

Ok since she posted the regular ones I will post the floral ones from UO. they are HOT so hot!!! I like them so much more than the regular ones!!! They just have such character to them. I did not straighten out the line but if i did they would look even better. I had to take the picture fast because I am headed out right now to the store.

PS YES THOSE ARE THE CHANEL HEELS that the models wore with the leggings. Im wearing the heels with the UO tights haha

yes definitely inspired by chanel i'm sure...

i wish they would do a more literal version though

the urban pair is fun to wear (i wore them for the first time yesterday with a short dress with sequin designs and blk suede round toe pumps) and got a lot of compliments on them...
BUT the quality could be much better...
i already noticed a couple little holes/snags on the sheer part...

i actually would love it if Hue came up with an imitation.. then we could all get a good quality pair of tights for a price that won't break the bank

I'm to report on the quality of the hose, - remeber I order them from e-bay - the chance is that they are not real. The box doesn't say Chanel anyweare, they are made in Italy!?!,they are thick, but it terms of rough, lycra is not enough... I bit loose in the feet, simply I can not imagine Chanel producing those. I paid the Chanel price...

well, I'm not 100 % sure they are fake, but for example this seller has the box

mine were just in white box, the composition of material /95% nylon, 5% elastane / is the as the one described in the above link, but to me it feels like one of these old tights that didn't have elastane.

any way the seller claims that they are Authentic.
I'll post latter the name of the seller.
