IMG has certainly thrown down their early gauntlet for the SS 10 New Faces sweepstakes in the form of this Dallas born beauty deftly named Nik. The face is exquisite, the body boasts major runway lines and the buzz on this girl just hit 10. Stay tuned for Nik’s first bookings.

Either way, they're definitely the same girl. Like "Jac" I'm refusing to called her "Nik." Not only is it ridiculous, but it will not come up in searches at tFS which will lead to multiple threads without a doubt. For the meantime, I will change the thread title to "Chantal Nik Deberry" and then when her instant buzz dies down, we'll drop the Nik.

She's a great blonde though. Perfect for the upcoming shows for Spring/Summer.

i actually find her really pedestrian i'm sure she can look quite sleek on the runway, but i just don't understand this type of look (the shape of her face combined with the long nose and somewhat small, close-set eyes)

^I completely agree. It's all very safe; very pedestrian. Though for what it's worth, I do love the close-set eyes on the shape of her face.

Again, she's safe, she's blonde, she's American (no visa issues), which all seems great for S/S 10 shows.
