Charles Jeffrey Loverboy Menswear F/W 2023.34 Milan

Look, it is well made and there's some gorge knits, but I can't see through the fact that this looks like some Andreas Kronthaler bs.

I am still yet to see an original perspective from Jeffrey that doesn't rely so much on other designer references and theatrics. Still better than any of the crap Bovan tries to churn out though.

Look like a bad concoction of Gaultier and Vivienne Westwood. Thanks but no thanks.

Not sure why is he showing in Milan, as some other British designers. Is this the way how the Italian organizers are filling the spots of their calendar trying to spice it up a bit. Not sure it brings anything to any of the parts involved.

The reason why some British menswear designers have moved to Milan is because, the British Fashion Council (the organisers behind London Fashion Week) has dissolved their menswear fashion week in the name of gender-fluidity/neutrality.

I like the raccoon scarf and the fact they gave the model an oil lantern to hold up like he's exploring a cave. I can't bring myself to comment on anything else here except the designer's downright creepy grin in the last photo.
