deux nouilles, i really like the way she uses bold print designs in contrast with the linear figures...

Thanks for the thread, the pictures are gorgeous! I never heard of her... who is she?

you're very welcome.

here's some information from the agent's website
doc-11.jpg

charlotte is 28 years old, she graduated at ESAG in 1996 and her work has been published in biba, elle, oui, dépêche mode, jeune & jolie, upstreet, jalouse and vogue russia since. she also had some solo exhibitions...
and a daughter^_^

This is lovely work, at first it reminded me a little of Edward Gorey. . , but I like how fashion is infused in her illustrations, very charming . Thanks Estella.:flower: Can't wait to see more of it.

I love love love that the fashion is so central to her work and that the dresses etc don't seem like some sort of afterthought used to adorn little stick-figure model-esque etchings....

i like that the characters she creates seem to be oblivious to the beautifully detailed clothes that they are wearing...
kind of like, "i look great... so what?" -_-

i love the vogue cover with the russian doll in the first post... so cute yet chic at the same time

How funny! I went to the same school in Paris! It is a really great place, they teach you how to actually WORK! But I was there in 2002, so way after her...

I agree, chrissy. no wonder why she's collaborated with vogue, fashion seems like it's still her priority. and she's very good with patterns i should add. :crush:

danke, estella!.

I adore these! Thanks so much for introducing her work to me.

I think it's a little bit too cutesy to me... but I like the way she uses lines and colours.
