) and was kind of disappointed. It seems inspired by the pieces featured in charlotterampling.net some years ago, in the case of that site (or the original article that was taken from) the image + commentary felt more complete somehow, perhaps more casual but like maybe she was being just asked about it and didn't trim the memory or was too careful on her description, in the case of her book, while there were nice family pictures and aspects of her life that she hadn't really discussed (like her sister Sarah), I found it too light and forgettable, I like that she's very guarded but I felt like I ended up reading about parts I don't really care about (personal) and in small drops.. it's also a very small book. I don't want to be lynched here but as I was flipping through it I was reminded of a slightly more interesting topic than Alexa Chung's It Girl.
