Hey guys, have u read about this? I just find it interesting. This was from a forum in misossology.

charo didn't wow me the first time i met her during the "supermodel of the world 2005 search." i was part of the team that handled the publicity for the contest. i found her amoeba-like then in terms of personality and style.

sans make-up she looked generically pretty. her personality was bland. she was the least articulate among her batch mates. 'was frustrated by her fuzzy response during an interview. mas marami ka pang makukuhang information sa tiyahin n'ya who acted as her guardian cum chaperone (i.e. isa s'yang anak ng ofw.) and her legs weren't particularly flawless.

i was actually rooting for a stunning cebuana girl from "de buena familia" who dropped out at the last minute.

come competition night, she blew everyone out of the water with her amazing catwalk and projection. she exuded the aura of a winner that night. thanks in large part to runway's painstaking tutelage and training the once shy provinciana was transformed into a certified model. kaya sulit na sulit rin ang pagpunta ng kanyang mga pala sa nbc tent. (mother joey informed me that charo got discovered in a fast-food resto---jollibee i believe. he also told me that models are MADE not born.)

Muse of the Moment: Charo Ronquillo

She was just 17 when Charo won the Ford Supermodel of the World Philippines. She then went on to compete in the World Finals the year after, bagging third place. Since then, Charo has been living in New York City, where she has gotten numerous projects including walking in the NYFW shows of Tory Burch, Sisley and BCBG among others.

I was fortunate enough to have worked with Charo while I was still in Mega. She was one of the three supermodels who graced our June cover and the shoot was one of the most seamless, easiest I’ve been in. Charo is just stunningly beautiful. The soft look that she naturally projects turns into a strong statement by the mere adjustment of her stare’s intensity. There is a certain confidence, probably due to NYC, even when Charo is off-camera — She moves effortlessly, talks candidly; her smile can make even the coldest heart melt.

Hey, he/she was just being true. Hence, someone very close to her once told me before that her legs definitely have flaws when she was starting. Not trying to stab her behind her back, just sharing what he knows. And we all know magazine pictures are too photoshopped, come on.

Anyway, I wonder what he means with 'amoeba-like'? Hmmm.. And the statement 'least articulate among the others' was very new to hear, interesting indeed.

Charo wasn't born with silver spoon on her mouth, yah i agree the author is just being true but its was like years ago so i definitely believe that charo already did something to that, on the other side i would just like to congratulate her for getting a show card and i wish she would appear in numerous shows for this season

Unfortunately, she's nowhere to be seen... I don't get why she hasn't booked any show not even one when Charlene and Danica did get casted to some shows... What is wrong?
