I never did cheerleading in high school, I've always thought it was "popular b*tch" thing.... I remember when I was in high shool, my dance teacher had us watch hours and hours of cheerleading competition videos... Everybody was like whoa so cool, I was just bored out to death; those cheerleader chicks in my school were all snob *b*tches*, sorry. Don't feel offended if you're a cheerleader, I don't want to make a generalisation here, but that was HOW IT WAS in my high school.

i did cheerleading in middle school... actually started in the 4th grade. i looved it and i missed it :( i didnt do in high school cuz THEY SUCK! contrary to popular belief, the cheerleaders at my high school were the least popular. but that fact did not have anything to do with my decision not to cheerlead. anyway, i still remember some cheerleading dance routines i did in middle school! my squad in middle school were awesome! we won quite a few competitions... and was on ESPN when we cheered for the All-American Girls High School basketball. and we cheered for the Blizzards (connecticut womens bball team) at the hartford civic center in front of like 17,000 people! pretty good for a middle school squad :P

The cheer coach caught me showing my friend some cheer stuff for fun and asked me if I'd like to join. Sure if she didn't have any "size guidelines"... b*tch....first praise me then insult me.

I think I rather be in drill or dance team though...traditional cheer is kinda too stiff for me. I'm more dance-y.

All those former Cheerleader celebs annoy the sh*t out of me. Go figure.

I cant stand cheerleaders. I didn't know they existed until I moved to North America

So she asked you to join and then told you that you couldn't because of size guidelines.

I would have thrown a shoe at her head or something ,,, why didn't you smack her for being so dumb?

I cussed her out I was astounded by her words. She said she wants to train me first into JV then get me to Varsity but only if I lose my "baby fats" as she puts it..... the only reason why I didn't throw anything at her is cuz I was new to the school and my friend pulled me away before I was gonna explode. I ALWAYS have to deal with people like this.

First off their captain isn't skinny shes curvy and i like her best and the capt said that I have to be at least the same size as the captain  .....

I'm gonna do dance and get into dance team just to spite the b*tch and cuz dance is way better anyways.

I would've been boiling..she praises you, then tells you to lose your "baby fat".. That's SO dumb.

ooh let's resurrect this thread... what do Laker's girls have to go through to get a place on the team. How does it work, how long are their careers? What sort of training is it. (Sorry all I know about cheerleading is from the TV -I find it fascinating)

they asked me , i said no . but i don't have anything against cheerleaders .:flower: It's just not my thing

Bring It On doesn't reflect very well on cheerleading. An inner city comp steals their routine? Because the rich b*tches couldn't possibly be beaten by kids who go to a real school...

Thankfully, Bring It On is as far as my knowledge goes.
