Her father is a wealthy english businessman and i'm assuming her mother is English as well. They emigrated to Zimbabwe awhile back.

Her dad is British citizen by birth, but her mom is South African three generation back, most of the family wealth comes from her side.

Her family wasn't heavily involved in apartheid, were they? I can't see how they could not have been if they have been in South Africa that long.

I have a feeling that Chels is one of those girls who is perfection re casual wear, but would not look good in formal wear.

^ To me I think it would just take a stylist to pick out the right evening gown for her body and the right hairstyle & makeup, she looks great with minimal makeup and her hair straightened or she would look good with a classy up do. She would just need some styling imo.

The problem with Chelsy in formal wear is that she would look like she is going to a prom no matter what you put her in.

Kind of...that's funny. Actually when I first saw a picture of Kate...I thought she was American...I was like wow...

Chelsy looks like a Hollywood starlet...that's probably why...she looks like someone who would hang with Lindsay Lohan......and US Weekly would love...

There are so many kinds I don't think you can be that general.
There is always the typical " all American girl " look.....
but she doesn't look like that to me at all...
that look is usually more Plain Jane.

I think the all American look can be apple pie...blonde and blue eyes...or northeast patrician...more icy and dark like Hilary Rhoda.

I have gone to school with girls who look like Chelsy. Usually you see girls who look like her by the boatloads in the Midwest and the Northwest of the US.

I think she looks like she's so much fun! I think she is the Chico University type here in America, Chico is a major party school and I have friends who look and act exactly like her. Was Cape Town University a party school?
