I think I would be too scared to sleep on crocodile infested waters The boat doesn't look too safe either but then again I wouldn't even sleep in a two star hotel in California so.... But seriously, it does look very pretty there especially in the second pic.

Harry certainly roughs it in a way that is new to the royal family. No safely tucked-away hut on a game reserve for him. Only think of what the paparazzi went through to get these pictures. Harry makes them work for their pictures, huh?

let's put things in perspective. just becuase certain people would do that doesn't mean it's the right way to be. there are plenty of people on this board who wouldn't do that. harry and chelsy like that kind of thing and chelsy grew up in south africa so i'm sure she's done that her whole life. so what if kate and william wouldn't do that?!? as i said before, there are many people who would not. they are just not into that. so let's stop the kate bashing becasue that argument against her is hypocritical. let's leave both of them alone. we don't know them! half the things people say about kate could be true about chelsy too. and people seem to overlook things about chelsy. now i don't know either one of them so i'm not going to pretend that i know what's true and what isn't becuase i don't. it's not right to judge people either way. and even if i did know them i wouldn't say anything. that's just not right to gossip whether or not it's true. i'm really starting to wonder if people hate kate because she may be the next queen... anyway, i like her shorts. i need to get myself a pair like those.

Yes, true, Kate is different from Chelsy. Kate grew up in a different culture. She is more a city/town person. A long time ago Tatler declared Chelsy to be one of "Happy Valley" crowd who likes to rough it in the bush, grew up learning to deal with the wildlife. I mean, her dad owns a safari company, I think, so she is into this stuff. Kate is more of a beach resort person. I don't think there is any one way that is "better". It is all just down to what is a person's preference. The safari life is not for everyone.

That said, there are various ways to do the safari thing. Some people don't rough it so much as Harry & Chelsy seem to. Like his grandparents, they enjoy safaris, or at least when they were younger, but they always stayed in comfort on a reserve somewhere, usually Kenya. So there are degrees of roughing it, I guess.

As for the tent where it is, I agree that it's probably high up to be above the crocs and other things, god knows what, and maybe also on account of the high grass.

No those are the only ones, the pic in post #803 is from that night too, that shows a full view of her outfit. I wish I had more too!

ok mango tango..calm down! and I'm not Kate bashing.Let's make that clear. Granted I don't particularly love Kate but I certainly dont have any ill will towards her, and you're right I don't know her, but then neither do any of us know any of the people in the threads we talk about (I'm speaking broadly) and yet we judge. fashion, sometimes boyfriends and other things. If we take your argument then we shouldnt talk about any fashion at all cause we dont know what they were going through that morning and shouldnt judge. Also I'm sure she and Wills are great together but and true some people wouldn't do those types of things... but my point was it was sad that with all the things that they have been given and the enormous privileges that they have, they dont try new things (Wills did on his gap year by going to Chile. right?) but I rarely see Kate do anything other than shop and lay out in the sun.(hmmm Maybe she trys new stores? who knows? ) But there's this quote on teamhighgrove by Harry saying "I am slightly grumpy towards friends who don't appreciate what they have." Thats all I am towards Kate. oh yeah, I wish she would stop wearing the same black boots, or at least find better outfits to go with them,but thats a whole other thread. lol
and Chewsteraghi...yes I agree different people like different things. shocking I know. but I never said that they are 'better' ways of living your life, I mean beach or safari? oh just to have the option these four do. Chelsy and Harry are for me more fun to watch cause they dont get paranoid (like i pick up from Will and Kate) that the paps are going to take a picture of them, gasp!, having fun!!! and together!
Also they (chels and haz) seem try new things (at least to me).
so please dont take it soooo seriously! okay?
oh yeah- I'll buy the shorts as long as my butt looks that good in them!
