Anyone go to the closing sale of Borders on State Street? Magazines were 40% off and Borders always has a good selection of international/fashion mags.

Geostud, I went to the Borders on State Street in the Loop yesterday. I'm shocked how much stuff was gone since 20% off of retail is hardly a steal. Books are still cheaper on Amazon. The shelves were almost cleared out. Calendars, paper goods, music and misc items were 30% off.

Anyone visited the new Top Shop? I visited a few weeks ago and laughed at how they pegged the dollar to the Euro... in a way of course that totally rips off us poor Americans. The Euro and the dollar are not too far apart right now but everything at Topshop is priced twice as high. 50 EU = 100 US dollars according to Top Shop.
