I'm loving these:

Baby Barrettes, Set of 2
Urban Outfitters
$10.00

Recapture the innocence of your youth with these adorable plastic barrettes, in all the classic shapes: hearts, bows, ovals, and doubled up hearts. Metal clasp.

I had similar clips when I was a little girl!!! My bow shaped one was pink! Perfect!

^ so true. a lot of japanese street style is very childlike with the bright colours. and so often they would incorporate toys & similar touches.

i'm very inspired with childlike fashion.

Yeah ... the Japanese are so into all things kawaii. They'll have lots of stuff that would fit under this style.

Love these from style.com

Tinetush inspired me to look back into the Cacharel archives, here are some looks from fall 2004 that I think are child-like, the beads remind me of bumble gum or those hard candies you can buy in those little toy&candy machines. . . :D

I like childish clothing... it's quirky and cute. Sometimes it can go all kinds of wrong though, I hate when people over-do it to the point of looking like adult babies or looking really clownish, like the dress in #331 (whaaaaaaaaat?!)...

I remember making these for my mom and putting every little bead so delicately or else it would all fall over and be ruined. I still have the kit I think...

Ah, I knew the runway chessboard looked familiar but I knew it wasn't a recent show. That show is from 2001. Good job Spacemiu!
