Love the shoes and boots...just can't fathom how anyone can wear them without sustaining serious injury.

Poor thing!

oops I'm sorry apparently that fall had already been posted

if a mod wants to delete my post....

As the new collections filter into the stores, I am being drawn to Chloe...after having been so-so about the catwalk collection. However, I can see how lots of people will be off put by the voluminousness of the majority of the cuts. Love the look of some of the shoes in particular the boots - however I'll only buy them if they do non-platform versions...

i really like the shoes (on the models) even though obviously theyre completely unwearable except by maybe long-legged people with driver-driven porshe lifestyle... i predict the bags won't be such a hit like betty or paddy, heh, they look like one of those 1 pound thingies you get in the supermarket,
as for clothes, a lot of it is really baggy, even supertall models drown in them, i guess they're forgivable for bigger frames but hell, some of it are sacks... not for people with average height

oh my gosh...all this time i've been shopping for platforms..i didn't even consider how it would be to drive in them! (and i drive stick!) screw it--these shoes are for people who switch into driving shoes when they get into their cars...:D

I talked to some buyers at Nordstrom about this collection. They hated it. They liked the pre-collection in stores now but were not so into this. Chloe is one of Nordstrom's higher end best sellers. Apparently that although the pre-collection is selling well many loyal Chloe fans were thrilled by it. I think it is just reaching a new customer. Many of them felt it wasn't close enough to the body. Knowing that I don't expect this one to do well at all in sales.

does anyone know where to get HQs of the show?

i know it was soooo long ago:lol:

Can anyone tell me how the clothing runs? Do the trousers run small large true to size, also the dresses seem full in this collection are they. I'm asking cause I'm online and don't know for sure what size to order..... I usually only buy the bags and Japanese designers but am tempted to pick up a few sale items... Help please.

french sizing, and yes, the dresses and tops run roomy when they are tentish....as far as the trousers I am not sure 100% but would say more true to size.

I love this collection. I love the Stam fell. I will always remember this collection for the plain and elaborate dresses, the dark wooden on black leather wedges andddddddd the fall.

^It looks like her foot got caught behind her other shoe when she was doing the criss-cross thing models do...
I was thinking with everyone's commotion here it was something more serious:shock:
I'm thinking the same thing. I mean, this wasn't the same kind of Naomi Campbell fall at Vivienne Westwood where her ankle nearly snapped because of the shoes...Jessica's foot just got caught behind her other one....I don't think it's a reflection of the wearability or practicality of the shoes.

However, being a guy and all, I have know knowledge of how walking in platforms that high feel like...:D

As far as the actual show...I love it. I think it's a very modern take on medieval peasantry.

i absolutely love this collection, especially the shoes. I don't care if they're impractical, at least they'll look fab on :-D
