Chloe A/W 06 Bags

The new season Chloe bags will be filtering through in the next few weeks. Have not found a thread yet on the latest bags so I thought we should start one.

The new Ollie bag became available today. It looks a little bit dull for a thousand pound bag Any thoughts on it.

^It is a little dull.
I feel that Chloe acessories are going just a little downhill..nothing sticks out in my mind after the original Edith anymore.
The black patent Betty had some oomph, but after that, everything kind of became a blur.

Good point. They have really changed I think. Don't beleive the hype guys. I think its time we all tried something new . . .

Phoebe was a real loss. I feel her influence gave the bags a real edge.

I wasnt really sure where to ask this... But does anyone know if any of the international chloe boutiques speak english? I know bahrain does. Does paris? Also is there a VAT refund just from the UK and europe or anywhere international? Sorry if these are kind of dumb questions, thanks a lot for the help!!

the salesppl at the paris boutiques generally have a grasp on the basics of english... some better than others.

^ Thanks! I'll try chloe paris. It's so much cheaper there, what I want to get is like $600 cheaper on lvr but they dont have my size.

I agree...that new bag is boring, what a letdown
The Betty and Edith were cute and had nice, original style, but this looks about like something you'd find in any store...not in the high fashion world

^ I agree, although there is one fal bag I like, I'm really not feeling this one. It gives me a mara jacobs feel for some reason, it doesnt look like chloe.

I saw that bag at the Neimans in Garden State Plaza, very unremarkable, like all the other Chloe bags (IMO).

definitely not as eye catching as other chloe bags. i seriously don't see a bright future for chloe handbags.

Anyone considering either of the Edith styles? Im a sucker for bowlers. I like the square one too.

I tried the red bowler at Neimans and it was beautiful, but heavy even when empty, and since I couldn't fit it up to my shoulder, I had to say no. The large Edith is lighter and the handle is longer, I would have loved to get it, but the color looked like a dirty dishrag. So I ended up getting a regular Edith in red and it is gorgeous. I can't put it on my shoulder but its not so big that it will kill me to carry it on my hand. I'm a happy new mommy!!!
