Chloe Paddington Bags (February 2005 - March 2010)

For anyone who is interested, I was in Holt's on Bloor this morning and they had a chocolate paddy and a silver paddy. They also had a blanc but I believe it was on hold for someone. The leather on the chocolate was very soft and buttery!

oh wow! which one of these 3 bags appealed to you the most? was the blanc one like bugttery and squishy? lucckky ive never seen any paddintons IRL except one that is like 5 km away

The craie is from A/W 2005. It was a GORGEOUS color - cream with a slight pink undertone as opposed to the S/S 2006 which is a true cream with no undertone (or maybe a barely noticeable yellow undertone). The craie was one of those colors that looked a bit different under different lights. I've always regretted not getting one. By the time I decided I really REALLY wanted one, they were impossible to find. Love my S/S '06 blanc though.

Unfortunately I didn't get to touch the blanc because it was being held for someone...but the chocolate was definitely squishy! I only got a peek at the blanc because it was in its dust bag behind the counter

The sable, I believe, is from a different season - and a more taupe-ish/pink (anyone - please feel free to correct me on this, if I'm wrong). For sure, the craie is different than the sable. You will LOVE the craie - it is so gorgeous and it will have the smooshier more wrinkly leather. I am envious!!! Let us know as soon as you get it - can't wait to hear your reaction and see pics!!!

thanks fashion_junky and janyoung99!! i myself am so excited too! i was acctuwlly suppose to recive it yesterday noon but it was held back in USA's custom under X ray and today it has arruved in canada's airport but still in customs, not released yet!! so i might have to wait till monday to recive it!! but its ok as longas it gets to me il take pics right away and post it up<333

i like blanc i find it more girly, young and sophiscated, black is nic3e too but there are so many nicer blacks out there. and the blacn makes the hardware really pop out. id otn know thatswhat i think =) where did you get your bags? looks awesome!

My vote is for the blanc too. Wait, screw my vote, I can't decide, the noir looks divine too and you can abuse it a lot more.

I have the blue nuit from A/W 2005 that I got from Aloha Rag. My this season's blanc I got from Louisa Via Roma. The leather on my blue is nicer - softer, more wrinkley - like the leather will be on your craie. However, I do love my blanc - it is beautiful (but given the choice I would have gotten the craie, particularly because of the leather issue - that's why I'm so excited for you!) BTW - I've never had a problem with the lock or any of the hardware peeling - and I've carried my blue nuit ALOT.

SoCal, it's funny - when I look at the pics of the bags by themselves, I like the noir best - but when I see them on you, I like the white ALOT more! (sorry - that probably doesn't help you one little bit). How about this - I think white bags are alot more happening right now - and a great rather edgy look for fall/winter/spring time as well as the expected summer time. Do you already own a terrific white bag? If not, I'd go with the white.
