Socal - have you decided yet? my vote is for the noir. I have the noir satchel and i love it to death! my mum has the Blanc hobo and has experienced horrible colour transfer!

I've got such zippy envy. i honestly can't find one anywhere, in stores, on line etc. I think I need one!

Thanks Hyze! Try calling Nordstroms or NM...you will find a zippy! No "ultimate" decisions for me yet... I had color transfer with a craie hobo, hmmm... Mammab, did you carry the blanc zippy? Any issues? The hobo carried lower and rubbed against my jeans...so I am unsure if I should worry about the blanc zippy or not. I have to admit a bit of an obsession with the zippy... (Love this bag!)

Lots of paddy sightings over the weekend...any new paddy purchases???

SoCal: That white Zippy has me breaking out in a cold sweat. That would totally be my vote but not sure what to tell you about the color transfer. I owned a craie satchel for a brief time but never actually used it so I didn't have any experience with that.

I actually like the black too but somehow I don't love the whiskey (and I own a satchel in whiskey so I love the color). Hmmm.

I was thinking I'd snap and get the mousse zippy but after learning that there's a lot of green in it, I may be looking at the white.

I really thought I was DONE with Paddys!

How does the medium zippy compare in size and shoulder strap length to the medium paddy? Thanks

I have only tried the large zippy, so am unsure about the medium. The large zippy is longer, but thinner (depth at bottom) than the paddy.

SoCal -- yes I have been carrying my blanc zippy and it never gets near my jeans. Then again, I sprayed the living daylights out of it w/apple gard. Not sure if that will help against color transfer but was worth a shot. So far so good!

I really vote for white, summers coming and it's going to be such a great bag -- I especially the color w/all the gold/brass hardware on the bag. Very classic IMO. Black is nice too -- but I prefer white Blanc

Hopefully next week I'll be getting my 2 blanc hobos so I can finally pick the best out of the litter. I'll have 3 to choose from (including the one I have now sitting in my closet -- the one w/the spray marks and dinged up lock). There's one on eBay and the leather looks really nice on it. No "flatness" anywhere that I can see. I hope at least 1 out of the 2 that are coming will be similar

Also, you guys, the silver is amazing I just love it soooooo much and can't wait to get it!!!

woohoo! Nope, I know it made it to the US (most likely NY) but from there? No idea. The tracking # doesnt work on the USPS website, even though it looks like an EMS tracking number. So maybe it didn't get scanned. I really don't know but I'm not too worried because it looks like I'll be home damn near everyday thanks to my stupid car

Is it still worth my while investing in a paddy? Is it going to be a timeless piece that I can justify? I really, really love the paddy, but I can't afford to spend money on bags that are going to be so over in a few months

If you like it, then that is all that matters irregardless if they are going to be "in" or "out" Heck I carry around every once in a while an old MJ Stella and they are pretty out, but I don't care, I still adore it.

Nawth21 -- sorry to hear about your car!! Now I remember, it died right when you got your new paddy. One thing I always tell myself when things arent going the way I had hoped: "Everything happens for a reason" and I always feel better and reassured.

When you do get your wallet, I think it's going to look so hot paired with your anthracite paddy. I'm crossing my fingers you get it tomorrow!

Has anyone used apple leather conditioner or apple garde rain and stain protectant to protect your chloe paddingtons?? I've used it on my balenciagas and it has worked great but would like to hear other opinions before I use it on my new Chloe which should be arriving tomorrow!!

Wait, wait, did you post earlier about having a Blanc Zippy? Did I miss it?? ! I know about the quest for the perfect Blanc hobo and the purchase of the silver but somehow missed the Blanc Zippy acquisition post. Congrats!! Looks like you've become quite the Chloe convert. I am trying not to let all the pics of the Zippys lead me to convince myself I need the smaller size, especially when I love my chocolate Bowler so much. The zipper compartment is great for people with children or a work lifestyle where the bottom compartment would come in handy but for me, it would be wasted space. Must continue this practical thought process... must...

Ok, I may need some help. my mum has the cream n/s hobo, which she loves. She's had it for 5 weeks, carried it for 3. She found a bit of colour transfer on the back but now she's found that one of the corners has gone grey where all the cream colour has rubbed off! She's very upset, especially as there is also some peeling on the padlock!

I spoke to selfridges (where it was bought) and as it's out of the 28 day returns policy, they won't swap it, they say they'll send it for repair, in Paris!
What should she do? This her most expensive purchase and she is worried they'll send it away, be without it for ages and then the same thing happen again in another 3 weeks. selfridges have been really bad about it, and I rang chloe in london, and they just said I had to talk to selfridges. What do you suggest, is there any way to get rid of colour fade etc?

ahhhhh stuipid customs! i was suppose to recive my package on friday march 3rd! and i just called UPS and the told me its still in customs here , where i live and has not yet be released !!!!! it was guratnneed on friday march 3rd and now they cannot guarntee it to be here by tomorrow or tuesday!! i actually have the package sent to one of my best frie';d house since i have to o to school and my parents dont live here right and my freind doesnt go to school anymore and hes leaving canada on tuesday! argh i hate stuiid customs and crap

madem0iselle - sorry to hear about the customs but rest assured, nobody could have went through customs hell like I just did (and my poor buyer). I sent a bag to the UK on November 28th and get this - she JUST GOT IT, like 2 weeks ago. Is that insane or what! Hopefully that makes you feel better, you'll have your bag sooner than she did!!

Roey -- yes *blushes* zippy is in my collection. Its a beautiful bag!! *hint hint*

HYZE -- I would suggest to your mom to send the bag in to have it repaired and then when she gets it back it'll be fixed. Tell her to spray the dickens out of it with a leather protector like Applegard. I've had good luck so far w/my blanc/white/cream bags. So she'll have to live w/o for a while, but think of it this way, if they're willing to fix it, why not! It's sad that she can't do an exchange. Selfridges sounds like a nightmare.

I've read a few posts where people have mentioned leather wearing so that the dye has rubbed off. Which colour is the worst offender for this, or is it pot luck? I would imagine that the metallic paddies would be quite bad for this?

Have to add that I was horrified by some descriptions of what appeared to be spray on colour!
