I got my Paddy in the mail today. The anthracite is sooo gorgeous!! Now I want a Paddington hobo too. Can someone tell me what colors the hobo come in? I'd love one in anthracite.

SoCal - I bet the Edith is really gorgeous IRL. I went shopping this weekend and was surprised at the lack of WOW factor I felt with any bag (spoiled by paddys!) But I if I saw Edith on a shelf it would probably stop me cold....

The most i've ever spend on a bag was 25,000. It was super cute, one of a kind. Loved it,i gave it to my sister after a while though.

Congrats to everyone who received their Ediths - you must keep up posted on how you like them, how they wear... if any of them make you wanna go back to school, get a PhD, and turn into a professor.

This is one aspect of my Edith dilemma. I have a PhD and am a professor...is this bag just way too much of a stereotype for me??? I have to say, it does look better today with jeans, but I love love love the zippy... I dress in a fairly simple, classic way...does the zippy add a bit more zip?

^Socal, you have to chose, you can't have both?? If you have to chose, I like the zippy, but I do like the edith on you. I didn't like the edith at all before and now it's growing on me. And I don't think it's too cliche for you to use, if anything, the fact that you actually are a professor just makes it more funky.

And yes, the zippy adds more zip

koukanamiya - congrats on your new paddy in anthracite! That sure if a pretty color The hobos are great, but kinda a pain to get in and out of compared to the satchels, but nonetheless, worth the pain b/c they are soooooo beautiful. If you want a hobo in that anthracite color, they seem to be readily availble from the places I have seen/heard/visited.

Bijin! Oh my word!! The leather looks fantabulous on your paddy and I really love the chocolate color. Very beautiful

Blu-genie -- tomorrow already? That is insane and so fast!! ARe you in the US or Europe? The tan is from last season, correct? If so, the leather will probably be TO DIE FOR. If its anything like the leather on the red hobo I sent back, oh gosh, it's going to be a keeper for sure. I will never, ever forget how that leather felt. Never!

This is a tough decision, but since you already have 2 zippys, why not add an Edith to the bunch? I plan on going back to work and I tell you, the Edith is PEFECT !!

It's so hard to choose, I feel your pain sweets. Trust me. I totally feel it. I'm going to be in your same shoes this week figuring out which ones to keep and let go.

I say, keep the Edith, especially since you are a professor!! I don't think it's sterotypical at all.

It looks out of proportion for some reason. The Zippy looks so much better and so much more YOU. Like you are truly comfortable carrying it.

Let me put it this way - if you can't rock Edith then there's no hope for me LOL! I think my lemming for this one can officially be put to rest.

SoCal - the edith reminds me of a balenciaga office bag and we know what happened to yours. I've preordered an Edith also, but I'm thinking I will probably cancel it because it does remind me of the office bag - which I sold also. Its a large, hand-held purse! If it was $400 I may think differently, but $1275 is 2/3rds of a zippy!

Roey, your so funny! Yeah, the white hobo is definitely going to go back!

Thing is, your right, I do have paddy fever, so much in fact that even my Balenciagas don't excite me anymore. I have forced myself to carry around my calcaire work bag and well, I'm just not crazy about it like I used to. Even though the leather is the best, by far than another B bag since s/s 2005. I think that's why I am holding onto it. I'm such a leather freak!

Maybe that's why I am so drawn to the edith -- b/c it really does resemble the work bag in a sense.
