^so cute, happy she won!! I dont know what dress I like better the Valentino or that amazing Lacroix, fabulous choices!!

That Lacroix is unreal on her  I actually preferred it to the Valentino.

I've watched her acceptance speech about 54 times now. I was also able to watch the show live, and went completely berserk with Awesome when her win was announced. :D I think just about every muscle in my body went all stiff and shaky, that's how excited I was. And I, for one, loved her speech, including that dress rip quip to the usher. Some people have commented online, saying that she was rude in making a note of it, but what else was she going to do? She was nervous, excited, and of all times at the moment of her first ever Golden Globe win, someone manages to step on her dress and rip it. Man, I loved the quip, so funny.

I was also so happy to see her so obviously excited about winning. I thought she was surprisingly composed, but you could see she was clearly breathless with psyched-ness. Also, did you guys see Jeanne Tripplehorn, how moved she was by Chloë's win and speech?

What an amazing night. Totally worth staying up for.

What difference would it make if she commented or not when everyone saw it happen? Anyway, loved both dresses especially the Lacroix.

Apparently, the manner in which she said it irked some people. They're even dragging in Haiti, for some reason, in the sense that, "How could she whine about her dress when there's a disaster going on in Haiti?" Honestly, I fail to see the connection between her quip and the Haiti tragedy, but... ooo-kay.

hmm i love chloea but : a. the make up is too strong b. i am not fan of her dresses choices - both, black and this beige , are damn miss for me. I only like the short one from after party.

Funny video (skip to 00:47):

I think she's drunk!

She seems to be getting a lot of hate for those comments. I think these people who are making negative comments need to realise that sometimes people get a little annoyed, and then people get guilty because they feel they take things for granted. You can't help that. I also wonder how many of those people, AFTER they made those comments, moaned about something minor? They're actually moaning about her so-called 'moaning'. A little hypocritical.

ack i don't like this dress :yuk: too much ruffles. it's like somebody draped a whole tablecloth around her body.

Thanks for the HQs, classicalbang!

To me, Chloë was the poster girl for perfection last night. She wore a classy, sophisticated and unique dress, something very reflective of her confidence and sense of style (if slightly less kooky than usual). I thought it was very appropriate for the event and for accepting the award, and a dress I don't think a lot of other people could've worn well.

I also love her make-up. Her eyes look amazing in some of the photos. And the "braided" bun, I love it! Chloë looks so stunning with her hair pulled back. I don't like the back of the Valentino gown as much as the front, but it flows beautifully from the side, and the train I think is beautiful. The color I was also first not very sure of, but it's growing on me. I actually prefer it over the Christian Lacroix after party dress, simply because I think the hair works better with the Valentino gown than the other. The Lacroix dress could've used something a little softer.
