I think everytime a thread reaches 1,000 posts, the moderators will lock that thread and open a new one because the site's performance has been lagging lately. If that is the case, those Twilight actors will be crapping out new threads every week.

right... we've resisted for a while, only closing and reopening the really big threads but we've been advised by management to close threads bigger than 1,000 posts

it will mean new threads more often but tFS should run more smoothly for the most part..
the whole situation isn't exactly ideal but we appreciate everyone's patience with it...

and don't even remind me about those twilight threads
