Chloe 'Silverado' Bag

Was browsing through ebay and came across this Gold Medium Item No. 6766276227.

Compared the 1st photo with a photo of my own Gold Medium (taken by my friend and e-mailed to me after receiving the bag from Chloe NYC). Both the bags look so similar except for the "Chloe" embossed on the front of the leather strap. IF the ebay one is a dodgy product, and I have not seen an authentic one from a Chloe boutique, I'll not be able to determine what's authentic or not. IF it is really dodgy, then the reproduction of designer label bags are getting more sophisticated and "real"..... Oh dear, oh dear.... :blink:

You are right! it looks so auth. except the Chloe on the front.. !

If its a fake then I cant belive it!
 
Hmm...it does look like real deal and what's wrong with the "Chloe" embossed on one end of the leather strap?

The gold silverado does have the word "Chloe" embossed on one end of the strap..unless it looks too big on the ebay silverado or something..I guess I need Goldie by my side now to compare..but I am not carrying Goldie today... :flower:

The Chloe embossed just seem a bit bi thats all, apart from that its perfect, so I guess it must be auth.

Yea..that would probably be my only gripe about it- the word "Chloe" does seem a tad big..otherwise it does look very much like the gold silverado I have.
 
Back to the pewter python, I plan to use it as my "black" for fall/winter. It will easily work with blacks and greys....I think it's pretty neutral, especially for a metallic (which it is just barely IMO). I can't imagine a more elegant "black" bag: dressier than the black spy, but not too blingy for daytime. I love that it's not quite black or grey - somewhere in between.

neither me or my friends gold silverado has a chloe emblem on it.... i think it is fake -- maybe from the same crop as fashionforless's fakes! because those have that embossed thing as well!

it's a damn good fake but nonetheless fake!
 
the pewter silverado I just received has the chloe stamp -- I thought all the new bags had the stamp? anyway, I remain undecided on the pewter -- it's very pretty to look at but I don't know if it really suits me. thanks for all the input ladies!

Hmmm..that's strange because one side of the bag strap that I have on my gold does have the word "Chloe" embossed on it... :huh:
 
Saw a leather Silverado tote yesterday and it had "Chloe" embossed on the leather strap. At the front where the bag fasteners are....

As per suggested by meeyowsa, perhaps the newer bags have the "Chloe" embossed on the strap...

I am totally unsure as to what's authentic or not. Hence the discussion on the ebay item. Also, earlier in this thread, there was a mention somewhere that "Chloe" embossing was deem as fake. Conversely, having seen a Silverado with the "Chloe" emboss, in a highly reputable boutique here which sells Rossi, Lauboutin, Blahniks and Balenciaga bags, perhaps the embossing is a new feature...Also chiangsi's Goldie is from Chloe NYC, so authenticity is irrefutable. However my gold one is also from Chloe NYC and it does not have the emboss...

Yes yes yes...the pewter looks like a very good alternative to black!! Can imagine its ability to inject sophistication into any old $5 outfits (i.e. runners, faded trackies, badly-in-need-of-wash hair... :lol: ) just as per a classic Chanel 2.55's inherent ability... ^_^

Finally I've just received the Chloe Silverado Python in brown (two tones) after spent several midnight phone calls to Chloe boutique. And now that my new baby is right here next to me. I:heart: :heart: :heart: the softness of the leather and the python and the colour is much more beautiful than how it looks in the pictures.
I placed the order on the 3th (midnight) and received the bag this morning ...so so...happy with the bag.

Thanks :flower: all for helping me decide to get this brown instead of waiting for the summer brown.

i just bought a black python replica but it's that Francis Tse or whatever brand that they all say is the best, it looks pretty good from the pictures. i hope it is hot. if only i could get the real thing :(
 
it is a bit off the topic but hope you guys have seen the golden python
BELT by chloe around 300 pounds. It is absolutely fantastic!!!!!!!!!!
