I've seen someone already selling the two tone silverado in the first pic on ebay.

Has anyone in the US ever purchased a python silverado from Luisviaroma? Any idea how much the customs bill will be? Thanks!

Any idea if pic 45 in post #1290 by klow-chloe is the same chocolate brown on LVR?

On the other hand, I think the bronze is sold out on LVR..looking at the pictures, I now see why.

The silverado python in photo 45 i.e. the last photo of the Winter ones is in Dark Grey. That is a new colour for the Autumn/winter 05-06 collection. The calf leather also comes in this colour, which is available to view at the LVR website.

Was the Bronze available from LVR website? I must have missed out on it...

Chloe NY has a large bronze silverado in stock - price is $2785 (plus tax)!!!

SA says it has a special irridescent finish on the python ... therefore the high price!

The boutique also has a number of the leather silverados in stock.

Advise please!!!

Ok...I need some serious advise now on the next Silverado purchase...or not! I currently own a Medium Gold Python (which I've yet to see... )

Considerations are for:
1. Large Silver python
2. Large Calf leather in Summer Pink (light beigey pink)
3. Large Bronze python (however the price is a serious discouragement. Would consider an Hermes or Bottega Veneta more appropriate for this price range... Btw, cougess thanks for the info!! )

Any advise will be very well and much, much appreciated

Out of this 3 the bronze is my first choice and the silver is second choice.

I really like the silver actually, the dark colours will be great for the coming season, so my vote goes there.

I don't like it at all on that pic. its not a very nice shade of blue, IMO.

Baghag, my vote would be for the large leather in the Summer Pink or the large Bronze. Even though I adore the python bags with all my heart, I love the color of the pink and how the bag is so slouchy and soft. Also, it seems like a neutral color that would go well with a lot of things, IMO.

I don't like the silver very much though. If you decide on a python, I'd spring for the Bronze.

FYI - the new (all leather) silverados for fall are great. The leather is thicker (its buffalo - that's what it says on the tag) and the bags do not look so shiney - more vintagey. I've ordered a chocolate brown (in large) and also seen tan - they are both great. Just make sure its not the tan from the summer - that is the one with the thinner leather and it looks shiney (a picture is on Net-a-porter of the old tan).

Out of this three probably the brown one. But same as the other the python is much better. I hope the yellow is not the same one with buttercream coz in this pic is too yellow for me.

I got the "yellow" one - in real life its not as yellow. Its called camel and that is a good description of the color!

Seriously in contention now are the Large Silver Python and the Large Summer Pink leather...
The Silver Python because it is just so gorgeous .
The Pink leather because the colour is the closest I will ever get to buying a white/light coloured bag, the leather is just so soft and yummy and most of all because it is readily available i.e. I can get it like tomorrow . No waiting time!! I've to wait for at least 2 months if I want to get the Silver one....

Does anyone know if Chloe Paris has any of the Silver Pythons in-store now? I called to enquire and was informed by the SA that Silver was Spring-Summer colour and it is sold out!!!!! HUH!?!?!?!?! If they do, I may be able to get it by end of the month as my friend will be there then and I can ask her to get one for me...hence no waiting time either... .... If only they will have a Large Silver....
