Buttercream vs Tan or are they the same color?

Hi Everyone,
I'm brand new here and late getting on the Silverado bandwagon, although I'm on it now, LOL. You are all such a wealth of information! Could someone please tell me if buttercream and tan are the same color, or if not, what the difference is? Are they both year round colors? I'm referring to the leather ones, not the python. Thanks so much!

Heres the info on it:
• Metallic gold python with tan leather trim.
• Golden hardware.
• Chain shoulder strap with covered rings.
• Front flap with push-lock closure.
• Fabric lining.
• 11"H x 13"W x 5 1/2"D.

Its already sold out. The only color NM had available is the gold python.

The butter cream is more of yellowish colour and the tan is more orangey, here the pics :

When I compare them to your tan Paddy pic (which is gorgeous, lucky you!), the buttercream silverado looks like the color of your tan Paddy, and the tan silverado looks much darker, more orangey, less camel, less tan, and for me, possibly more problematic getting it to go with a lot of outfits. Then, there's a picture on NAP's main Chloe page with the silverado and a pair of gorgeous high criss cross boots, and the color of those items seems closer to your Paddy's tan color, but I don't know what color

I have the tan Silverado and you really have to see it in person. In pictures it looks orangey, but its really closer to brown than orange. And it seems to darken as you use it. I've been carrying my bag exclusively for 2-3 weeks and the color has darkened somewhat and it looks "distressed". I can't wait for the cooler weather to get here, because the bag will look nice paired with my saddle Frye campus boots.

Esider, love the color of the boots and envy you that you can wear such high ones (knee high, not the heel height). I'd call those boots "camel" and would love to see them in same lighting next to your tan silverado. TIA.

^ It's not boring it nice and does not look over done like some bag.
Aimee3 - the silverado on the pic below is the tan one. I think the lighting made it look different form the one I posted. As per esiders' comment the colour sound beautiful to me. The buttercream IRL is lighter than my tan paddington and it's more yellowish undertone.

^ The tan on NAP have been sold out if you really want it what you can do is send the e-mail to them that you would like to purchase this bag if it become available again.

Some items they will allow you to do that special request and they will send you the email asking you to fill in an 'authorisation from for you cc details. You need to fax that form back to them. They will then put you on the waiting list once the item become available they will ship it and charge your cc account.
