Chloe 'Silverado' Bag

at first I was debating whether or not to get the silver or the bronze. But after seeing the silver python in person ( my friend has it), I decided to get the bronze. The bronze has this antique looking feature that I really like but that's just only my opinion. Still waiting for my bronze python though.

being the proud owner of the bronze, my vote goes for the bronze, all the way. It is absolutely gorgeous and it complements a lot of my wardrobe colors.

Thanks for everyone's response. I have them both and one has to go back! My initial inclination is the bronze also. The silver is nice, but there is a big contrast between the silver python and the leather, so in many ways, its closer to the gold in terms of "bling bling" factor and since I am "old" (> 19) I can't be too flashy! B)

I initially like the bronze and then I changed my mind when I saw the close up pictures of the and the bronze sent me. I think I like the silver more but lately when I saw the pic of bronze on rachel zoe I think I like the bronze more....geeez go for the bronze.

Hiii,
I'm looking at the Chloe Silverado in silver, bronze or blue color...

What do you all think. The silver is amazing but people seem to say the bronze works with more and isnt as BRIGHT and out there as the silver is....

And the blue just seems cool...

i vote for the bronze too!! it's absolutely gorgeous~ this might sound insane, but i have two of the exact same bag. my SA at neiman marcus pre-ordered one for me (though he wasn't sure if he could really get his hands on it during early May) and my SA in hong kong also got one for me. i feel bad for returning it to either one of them bc they tried so hard to get it for me. i guess i just have to keep two or maybe sell it to someone

Ladies, I need your help! Its the better halves birthday on Monday and I really need to pull the trigger on a silverado today so I can make it to Hong Kong at least remotely around the right time. Heres the scoop:


1. Chloe HK only has a Python, which I know she is not after. I think she wants leather, but I have absolutely NO clue what color.

2. She is a jeans girl, and has a lot of bags in brown/tan. Fwiw, she's already got the balenciaga, mulberry, gucci etc etc, so this I guess would make a nice addition. I know for a fact, she would prefer the Silverado to the Paddington, so at least that part is covered.

3. So now the tricky part! NAP (Ive been reading this thread and paying attention!) has the "Medium Tan" in stock, and Aloharag has the Black. Can anyone give an opinion pro or con on either color? Which is more desirable, rare, etc? I really cant apply my own tastes to this, because, as with most guys, if it doesnt have an lcd on it or play mp3's, its really quite dull

Hope someone can help me out. I do feel more confortable ordering from NAP for some reason. How are experiences with aloharag? Do I have any other choices?

It's good in a way that he does pay attention to me, but sometimes it's embarrassed to admit that I have spent sooooo much on shopping!

Where do u live, Maxxed?

I personally prefer the tan leather silverado shown on NAP website because it looks kind of two tones (and that makes it a bit more special).

But may be you should check the reason that your wife has so many bags in tan/brown is because she does not like black bags or she just happens to buy more tan/brown. If it's the latter case, then I think black could add another alternative for her collection and it would be nice to carry the black one through fall / winter.

I never order things from aloharag, but the experiences with NAP are great! Goodluck!

Sound like we are having the same situation he does pay attention for what I'm wearing and most of the times he knew that I was carrying/wearing my new bag or outfits. ...hee...hee... I haven't got plan to carry it when he around with me yet. It's still my top secret.

maxxed - I have very good experiences with NAP which I would recommend. As for the colour my favourite colour is brown but the tan on NAP is quite nice too.
Most of my handbags are brown or tan that's because I love those colours if your wife happens to love those colours then another brown bag is not too many.

Oh! brown is only available at aloharag but I think a lot of members here have dealed with them and they have a good experiences as well.

Meena - I am in Hong Kong right now, thats where I need the bag shipped (hopefully to arrive on Monday!). Actually my wife has a ton of bags in black too, they just tend not to get worn as much.

Its nice to hear that Aloharag is also reliable.

Do you guys think that the Medium Tan on NAP is too 'orangey' in color? I seem to get that feeling. My wife has more of a mediterranian skintone, dark (almost black) hair, so it may not be the right shade for her. Does anyone own this bag or have they seen it in person?

maxxed - my friend has a tan paddington from this season. I suppose that it should be the same tan. If that's correct, then the real one looks less orangey than in the pic. Personally, I think the tan one is nice. Unfortunately, I just got my leather silverado in bone on Monday, so I can't get another new bag for a while....

I think if you order the bag today from NAP, you should be able to receive it on Monday morning. To ensure this, you can give them a call or send them an e-mail after you complete the order. Your first time order with NAP can take longer (in case HK is a DDU country).

For aloharag.com, I think you need to do the off-line order for Chloe bag (anyone corrects me if I'm wrong). So I'm not sure if this will take more time.
