No I agree. It's nice, but it just doesn't have the John Galliano feel to it. It's way too understated for him! (not that that's a bad thing. it just isn't him.)

No, no....I feel the same! Maybe it lacks the high inspiration and detail from before. This could be just a really good ready-to-wear collection. But maybe he is moving back more towards the amazing cuts and such! I hope it!

Wonderful. A dream! The daytime pieces are just ok, but the evening gowns are perfection. The flow, the volume, the color. The dresses on Tanya, Olga, Trentini and above all Kim are art!

i know what you mean and i agree, but still i LOVE this collection.
see, i know its couture and i could've expected something 200 times better, cause its john galliano and he did such amazing over the top (in a great way) things in the past that this surely looks understated, but CONSIDERING THE CRAZY MESS that esp. the last couture collection was, i'd take understated anyday rather than that - and i can only hope for it to get better from here,
if you know what i mean

A sure-step in the right direction (the gowns on Caroline, Bruna and Olga are some of the most fantastic creations I have seen in years), but still very far from where Galliano needs to be. He's been churning out the same New Look suit/dresses and identical hooker heels for seasons now. It's time for some hard edged eerie glamour, Galliano style.
