Was this bag ever created and is it a genuine Christian Dior Limited edition.

That is DEFINITELY authentic. It's from the Fall 2001 collection.

I've been wanting a bag from that series...

I'm not sure if I'd consider September 2001 "vintage" ...

I didnt mean the 2001 ones, but i saw a vintage Dior bag on ebay that had the same sort of style with the metal plate bit at the front, but with no patchwork...(not sure if it was real though)

the metal "Chris 1947" licenseplate was the signature element of the Fall 2001 collection, and was never introduced before then, so it had to have been from said collection...

Ok, the one i saw on ebay was probably a fake! I wish it was still there so i could post it though

Brian - thanks for authenticating this for me. My best friend saw it on Ebay and asked me to check it out for her. It looks different in the picture here and on the website but i trust you guys so i told her if she really love it to go for it.
