I think it's rather pleasing to look at. The two last dresses are really pretty. But I don't like the shoes. Too much fabric with open-toes is not working for me, and he should stop trying to renew sneakers' sole.
I didn't like it at first glance, but after ruminating over it I think I've come to absolutely LOVE it. Most of the looks are incredibly wearable, have personality, and I think he's finally done a better job of making things that will be flattering on all body shapes, which has been my big complaint about him at the house thus far. Bravo!
i love the first part, then it gets messy in the middle - not really a fan of the prints. but i do really love his usual asymmetries so i overall like it.
This looks horrednously cheap and poorly made. Nothing about this seems pure; it seems like a very failed attempt to be commercial. And what's odd is that I see none of Raf's DNA, but rather strands of work from other designers that aren't even at Raf's level. It looks like a mishmash of all different, much younger designers. And those two knotted dresses in ecru and gray are a complete joke!
I like how he play with the handkerchiefs, mostly at the look #18, 19, 20 and 21. My only problem with this collection are the corsets, pretty messy when combine with other patterns, but it doesn't mean the prints are bad. Can't wait for the slo-mo video to see how they look in motion.
I am a semi-fan of the collection as I find things that work and some that don't.
But, am I the only one who sees a vast Nicolas Ghesquiere influence on this? Especially in the graphic prints and patchwork area, along with those handkerchief dresses. There is something about those looks that make me wonder 'What if Ghesquiere was the one at Dior', so that's not good I guess.
How surprisingly generic. This has high street or x young designer written all over it. There is no dior nor raf in this. And how many floral prints do we have to see from him on the dior runway?
