Christian Dior S/S 2025 : Lilli Ostendarp, Claudia Campana, Xiuli Jiang & Ali Dansky by Sarah Jones

The one thing I'm excited about when it comes to MGC leaving Dior is that we can finally move on from all these stupid lifeless campaigns.

What is this school play set? Unfortunate angle for that poor girl who looks like she has a gigantic forehead, and the look is... a choice. Black crossbody bag blending against a black bodysuit that is itself blending in the dark trees in the background? Oh okay.

Was it shot by Pavarotti as well? It looks terrible so far!

In reality, MGC's practical clothes make most women look elegant and timeless. In contrast, Jonathan's Loewe outfits often look too baggy, too artistic, or too basic (like sweaters with jeans). He doesn’t fit Dior’s image well. We don’t need another Raf 2.0 era. I hope MGC stays at Dior.

She has good basics, but it's oh so uninspiring and a reflection of what luxury has become: an ocean of basic clothes that are not even luxurious anymore. The lifeless models and lack of creativity for imagery confirms that.
I agree that JWA is not the best fit, but I'm desperate for her to leave!

That Adidas track suit trousers with the slit is both basic and truly heinous.

I don't mind Frida Giannini at Dior lamo

Goodness, I would have never guessed it was by Sarah Jones. Dior has this thing when they work with art photographers that they completely dilute the photographer's identity. It was the same when they did that SS24 campaign with Tina Barney. One could have never guessed that it was her work. Crushes my soul...

I find the ad campaign very beautiful. The architecture, greenery, and blues of the night sky appeal to me very much. These images will be eye-catching in print as they are on the screen.

This has potential to be good but unfortunately it’s not. Maybe better lighting and better set design will elevate it
