Christina Ricci

thank you all for your opinions.i just watched it ! and well,i actually preferred it to girl, interrupted.it was more real to me and more honest.girl interrupted was too hollywood-ized for my liking.i'm surprised this film didnt have a larger audience and was only released on dvd.writing was good, performances were very strong.both ricci and lange.nd u can see michelle wiliams coming into her ow.directing is very week and script sometimes too fragmented, but the acting tops it all:)

I thought so too, I loved the pure honesty & acting. The reason it had little audience is because it was actually banned from release in the U.S! Glad you got to see it!

CHRISTINA RICCI shines as the face of Fashionaire, the newly-relaunched cult Sixties accessory line by Samsonite's premium Black Label. The vintage-inspired range - in a contemporary 'flower-power' monochrome print, lined with orange sateen - includes an umbrella, wallet and key-ring alongside its bags, beauty case and wheeled cases. Cameron Silver, whose vintage couture boutique Decades in LA also has a branch at London's Dover Street Market, acted as a consultant for the line to ensure the design was spot-on. "Fashionaire epitomises the concept of 'Fashion Then, Fashion Now'," says Samsonite's creative director, Quentin Mackay. "It is as relevant today as it was when introduced in 1968. Today, good design is creeping back into many aspects of travel, from aircraft to lounges, to hotel design. Fashionaire feeds into this concept and allows the traveller to express their interests and personality and reintroduce fun and style into an area that was for too long seen as sterile and bland." Ricci was a natural choice to represent the brand, owing to her strong, kooky style - and the vintage element is something that attracted the actress to the role. "I view fashion as art," she said at the launch of the collection at New York's Gramercy Park Hotel. "Wearing Madame Gres is like wearing a museum piece."
