lol, shameless to say, I love chunky golded chain necklaces, I can't efford the high-end designer ones, cheap ones looks cheap and tacky. One day I was at home depot, I got inspired, I got a chain from there and wore them as necklaces...... but I think they turned out good

There is an ad in the current US vogue (the one with keira Knightly on the cover, I can't spell her name) for David Yurman - it has Naomi Watts wearing a chunky gold chain, it's probably 16 inch length, collar bone height. And while I don't normally like gold or large necklaces, I have to say... this one is really gorgeous and luxe looking. It has a fine texture to it, and is a soft yellow gold instead of a bright tacky gold if that makes sense.... It sort of glows, but that could be the lighting in the add, too!

I don't have a pic to post, but I'm sure someone can find one, it's very lovely!
