A Fashion's Night Out Reunion with Cindy Crawford

The snaking line that formed around Cindy Crawford’s promotion for her new home-design collection at JCPenney started four hours before the velvet ropes lifted. Makeup artists from Sephora performed mini makeovers on fans who waited eagerly for their photo op with the model icon.
We waited patiently with our friend Annie Veltri, Cindy’s former agent for more than a decade. Annie shepherded Cindy through her rise to supermodel status and reminisced with us about working with Cindy on her ’90s campaigns.
Cindy, looking stunning as ever, posed with fans for renown fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon—surprise!—who snapped the souvenir pictures. The crowd was guided through the event quickly—until Annie appeared, when everything stopped. Cindy lit up at the sight of Annie, just in time for Gilles to capture their touching reunion. ~ Rachel Gray
