CK Calvin Klein S/S 2019 Campaign
by Charlie Engman
And people were complaining about Vanderperre
I thought this was just e-commerce when it was posted on instagram, but the models confirmed it was the campaign.
Its really underwhelming and hard to believe as an ad.
A slap in the face for the people who didn’t liked Willy (myself include)
This is a disaster.
Fabien Baron, where are you when we need you??
Stiff, lifeless and boring. They are all standing/sitting there like a bunch of sad decommissioned mannequins in storage.
Engman doing CK?? Who ever thought that was a good idea??
Looks like a bad armani exchange ad....
Everything is just awkward.
I hate RAF. He ruined the brand.
Well, I'll wait for the Glen Luchford campaign. This one definitely looks like a lookbook. I probably wouldn't call it cheaper than Vanderperre. I mean, one of his last campaigns had a bunch of models sitting on a ladder against a blank backdrop! For a photographer of his level and influence, that was the lowest of the low!
Ugly campaign. Willy Vanderperre would have done a better job.
