After completing her MA at St Martins with a distinction in 2004, knitwear designer Clare Tough has enjoyed rapid recognition. Her graduate collection, described by Vogue as "the future of British fashion," was snapped up by Browns. She also stocks in Liberty. Launching an independent label is incredibly difficult; it often boils down to survival of the fittest. Luckily, Tough (by name and by nature!) is in a strong position as she already sells within the UK.

I've seen a previous show of her, it was one or 2 seasons ago, in Gap Press;
very nice show...
but the show isn't on fuk.co

I'm not really into the early Versace look alot of London designers seem to be doing, but it's kind of intresting knitted. I really liek the black sweater with the chain by the neck.

To be honest I don't like Versace too...B)
So it's all the more surprising for me to enjoy this collection...
It's probably thanks to the great contrast between the sweetness of knit materials, and the sexy outlines !
