And the singer, who plays King Tut’s tomorrow night, reckons his collaboration with French actress Clemence Poesy, who plays Fleur Delacour in the blockbuster films, has created some musical magic.
“It’s a duet that’s got a real Lee (Hazelwood) and Nancy (Sinatra) style to it” he says.
“It’s very sexy and has got a Serge Gainsbourg feel on it, with a lot of reverb on the drums.
“It was a complete fluke, as this French guy that works at my label was in Paris and at a party where he met her. They got chatting, and I’d already said I was wanting to do a duet on the record.
“He suggested that she do it, she thought it sounded fun, and we just did it – there was a buzz about the song.”
