Clemence Poesy

I don't know why everyone is so confused that she is so casually dressed. She dresses like this at movie premieres quite a lot.

^i've seen her underdressed at premieres other times..but this is REALLY scruffy! i think it's mostly because of the sweater..

^^ Yeah, she used to dress like this for important events all the time. I do think the difference between this and her older outfits is that, when casual, she's always relied on one item that's more polished (sometimes a pair of shiny ankle boots, a detailed blouse, earrings, a structured jacket), that should've been the role of the jacket she's holding (instead of wearing). Also things might look better with an angle that shows her bag.

Anyway, I have issues with the sweater and the shoes, not the casualness.

Same, except I have issues with everything. It's a bit trend-whorey, if you ask me. It's like she ripped the whole look from a Zara catalogue.

I definetly love what she wore at movie theater!
and I really like her little messy-ish hair.
that knit looks so cozy and warm.
if I would change anything, it would be those boots.

i'm actually really relieved to see her in something casual again. it suits her.

what I take issue with is the sweater....the muddy colour does her no favours....and i think it's too long, and the neckline is a bit too tight. i think the concept is really cool, but it falls a bit flat in execution. if it were grey, a chunkier knit, and shorter with a lower or looser neckline, i think it would be perfect.

yikes, that IS a pretty messy outfit. well I do love it (minus the jeans, wish she had worn classic blue jeans), but... yeah.

The premiere pics....perhaps it's more about the unusual choice of colours than anything else. This outfit is quite unlike her usual style, so stands out all the more.

Clémence Poésy
How do Frenchwomen always look so effortlessly understated? From Marion Cotillard to first lady Carla Bruni (and even transplant Jane Birkin), the archetype of unassuming Parisian chic has always been easy to spot and near impossible to imitate. Now joining the low-key ranks of Cotillard and company is Gallic beauty Clémence Poésy: The 29-year-old actress—best known for portraying Hogwarts’s most bewitching exchange student, Fleur Delacour—has the uncanny ability to give any outfit, be it a cumbersome period costume on the set of a new film or Chanel Haute Couture, the trademark je ne sais quoi of a Godard-era heroine.

^What a lovely shot, that outfit is utterly effortless and cool on her:heart:. And I agree with most that the outfit is not something for a premeire but i do love that cozy knit:flower:

Agree about the sweater in the previous posts, it's a bit too casual, however I love that outfit she is wearing in the Vogue pic, and although I prefer her as a blonde, she does look good with darker hair :)
