........

Thanks helena. Perhaps it's not fair to bash this because of their recent budget woes, but it's terribly disappointing... I've always like CR, but imo they ought to have skipped this season and waited until they'd regrouped financially before showing again, rather than sending out this spare and wan-looking collection.

brilliant prints though some of the cuts seem rather unflattering, by the time they make some of the models look wide!
nice shoes too

^^ agree droogist. But that's really strange I'm almost certain I read in the times that they WERE going to skip at least one season due to the financial problems they were having with their suppliers??

I agree I think this isn't their usual standard - its pretty bad. Maybe they just want to keep a hand in.... I do like the necklaces though.

It's a bit boring isn't it? I feel like it's a showcase of my middle aged aunt, Eileen's wardrobe:blush:

...okay, it's not that bad!

I read the brief thing on style.com where he says it was almost refreshing to pare everything back...which i understand and quite enjoy. the dresses are really lovely and so are the necklaces. The only thing I don't like is that wrap skirt, it's a little too 1994 for my liking.

Precisley, a fresh start would have done them some good.

A far cry from what they have done in the past. It looks very dated and substandard tbh.

Yeah, I just wonder....

Boring, but reasonable.
