Hello

I am fairly new here. I come on quite often to read and look, but am too shy to post anything. However I really need some help!

For 6 months I will be studying in a factory type environment (pattern making, garment constructing etc) and I have to wear *closed in* shoes.

I have no idea what shoes to buy! I need shoes which actually look good, are cheap and go with skirts, suits etc

What shoes do you girls/guys wear?

Thank you all so much for your time

I think they mean closed toe, no sandals, flip flops, open toe, peek toe, a pump or trainer basically.

Unless you're working with like construction materials and then they would have meant steel toe...so your toes dont get crushed.

First of all...welcome to tfs...and please do not be afraid to post. This is a wonderful site with lots and lots of information and inspiration. :flower: Make yourself at home.

I found these on www.Nordstrom.com. They're having a sale and it starts 7/15.

Eek! I must go. Nordstrom has horrible clothes, shoes and bags (You're not even ready for how bad they are), occasionally they do have some nice pieces...and hopefully they'll be on sale.

I agree. A good pair of flats are very comfortable, and very versatile.

Thank you *Happiness*

I have lots of flats, I just wasn't sure if they were considered closed
I will have to go shopping for some more!

Thank you all so very much! :flower:
