Coach F/W 2023.24 New York

Stuart Vevers is having an identity crisis right now, his recent collections have been all over the place.

What Stuart doing now reminds me of Christopher Bailey during the end of his tenure. Not a good look.

Tapestry stock is almost at its highest since 2018. He's had several hit bags, and the core accessory lineup sales are strong. The (few) clothes and runway accessories go into production do sell quite well.

Vevers seems happy swimming in his lane and making gobs of money while raising children comfortably in New York. The Coach creative director role is one of the highest paid in the industry, and his stock packages from 2019-2020 have all ballooned quite nicely.

100%

Coach is not about the RTW. He's doing his job by siphoning the coolest, latest most relevant thing at the moment and right now that's Courreges. Last season it was Balenciaga.

I would personally wear his versions before I would wear the originals and if it's good enough for me you can believe it's good enough for all the normal folk out there.

I'm not saying that that is a great way to work or particularly admirable but it's COACH.

Who cares!?

Not ugly and I surely like a few looks. But that's about it.

Stuart Vevers needs to stop making clothes immediately.
