It's amazing what big-name stylists and advertising can do for a brand. When Vevers took over Coach appeared in the right magazines and it was that brand that everyone wanted to book, obviously because they had Templer and Meisel and despite the fact that he turned out prairie collections season after season. All of this helped sanitise the brand of the 'cheap' reputation it previously held.
Then they got Teller and a bunch of mediocre celebrity campaigns and they've been downhill since. This collection shows that whatever is going on at Coach right now actually lies with Vevers. Today, Coach actually looks cheap again.
