...rumour has it Air might headline one of the three days, I'm 99% sure this is true since their new album is coming out on March 5th and it just make sense they might want to do a good round of festivals this summer.
same rumour also says Interpol might join the lineup, as well as Sparklehorse, Token, Joanna Newsom, Xiu Xiu, Canser de ser sexy, Arcade Fire and The Decembrists.

Is any TFSer planning to attend this year?

..I think the lineups only get worse, but I'm hoping they add some really great bands that encourage me a little, I hate all the Coachella ritual..and even the festival itself but I feel like summer is not summer without it..
.. I'd be in heaven if Sparklehorse gets confirmed, since I'm also seeing him in february..

I think that's highly improbable since they already headlined last year.

Cutx: that's awesome!..even if he doesnt get you the backstage passes and there's a someone you want to see, I think you should still go!, there's a lot of action going on at the regular venue, you're most likely to find relatively famous someones wandering around during sets, enjoying the shows and drinking with random people. I remember some of the guys from Snow Patrol being next to me during the Chemical Brothers set in 2005.. not much for an experience though .. I never have something important to say when I meet 'significant' people..especially when I'm not a fan.

wow, finally, it looks pretty awesome!
I wish they'd do more coverage of smaller bands but that's fine with me, I'll most definitely attend this time, I've never seen Bjork live.

I'm excited that Air and Jarvis are playing the same day, since I love "One hell of a party" and I'm pretty sure they'll do a performance of that together.. if not..*loads gun*.

How hard and how mcuh are Coachella tickets usually? I just realized im out of school by the dates, and I could be in for al ittle rooooad trip

it's usually 85 for a one-day pass. 120 from a two-day pass as far as I know.. I dont know if it'll get higher or just cheaper this year, it'd be interesting to see, since they've extended the festival into a 3-day weekend.
