Colcci S/S 12
São Paulo

Colcci is not a luxury brand, so I am not expecting high fashion, I think that it is a solid offering of mass-market sportswear and I particularly like several of the men's looks.

FYI... this is not the full collection.

You know, my problem with most of brazilian labels is that they prefer to spend lots of money on random celebs to get press, rather than use the money to hire better stylists and work on better fabrics and designs.

But this is a cute collection, better than last season. I love Debora Muller's look on the show.

You have to think of their target audience as well....

this.

Well, but from what Ive seen from streetstyle pictures brazilians LOOOOVE their denim (in here we do, too but not as much).

I've always seen Colcci as something sporty and what-not but its not like Im saving the date on my calendar to see this collection .. Id rather check out Osklen :P

Still... cute wearable stuff .. I kick myself in the head on why Im not a millionaire so i can open a store devoted to brazilian designers in here. Its a match made in heaven.

The mariniere top on pic no 3. I want it. Baaad.

they def need to give their models these jobs rather than giving them to movie stars. But I think there clothes are as good as any other brand

This collections reminds me of why I'm never interested in sao paolo fw

At least is way better than the one from Mexico. Besides there are much more labels besides this one, Colcci is veeery sporty, but if you see Lucy(..) or Super Lucy or Herchcovitch is a whole different level.

Gotta agree with most of what you all said. Colcci really isn't a luxury brand, but it does have nice clothes - or at least I like it. And, IMO, the clothes are kinda expensive there, it's not something I can buy very often.
I liked the new collection a lot, can't wait to see it in the stores!!

And, also true, here in Brazil, the labels have this obsession with bringing famous people to their catwalk. Paris Hilton, Olivia Palermo, Ashton Kutcher... I can't really see why. I mean, it's obviously to draw press, to create all that fuss. An interviwer who was covering SPFW for GNT (a channel here) spent more than an hour tryng to get a 'Hi!' from Ashton.......... duh.
