ehh, sounds a bit boring to be honest. I like Colette but sometimes their pretension and the effort they go through to be on top of things and 'hip' is just too much. Could be the only one who thinks that though

Some of the issues are better than others. I liked the one with the girl and the candy cane on the cover.

Meg - I like Colette and I think there is an energy about it .....I am not sure if it is genuine pretension or if it just comes across that way. Ther ealways seems to be a sense of humour.....but I do think some of the SA's can be pretty offhand on first impression. I have found some of them very helpful too though. They LOVE fashion. I was in last summer & asked to see some of the Bless stock & they were so excited just to show it to me....even if i didn't buy any of it. I can see its faults too though.

I was talking more just about the mag and some of the 'gifts' than the actual store itself which I enjoyed immensely (though a security guard did tell Lena off for taking notes! ) Like I said, regarding those things, it could just be me.

Very boring... if the latest issue "Atlas" is an indication of the contents in general. Some badly written articles, tiny little pictures of celebrities (Pete Doherty imitiating Jean-Paul Belmondo ) accessories and blurbs, amateur graphics, unoriginal photography that have seen better days (or rather years ago) at ID or Colours, lots of ads, no fashion spreads! A bit cheapskate, imo. Can't they even afford a shoot? Hey, fashion isn't exactly deep, so spare us the inane editorials, no eye candy at all...
