I really want to try this but i don't think i own anything that would work.

^I'm sure you have something. I think this can be done in many ways..
with printed dresses, with plain simple neutral dresses, with dresses in almost the same color as your tights (think unicolor), with skirts...
Also I think all materials work, leather, lace, wool, cotton, etc..

I would just give it a try..

you can get bright red (they are bright!), grey/ashphalt at american apparel and they have a midnight blue. i got my navy ones at macys but that was months ago.

Color choice for tights and leggings

I have many colors. I personally as a guy, like navy, camoflauge, stripe, black, grey, and green. I wear nude and tan to the gym with a pair of shorts. I wear my camoflauge with some jean shorts or rugged tan khaki shorts. See my pictures above. I down own the bright colors. Just common colors. I think black is sexy for leggings and tights if done with denim. Cottons with shorts or skirts ok if with the correct boots. I saw some beige leggings with small dots or fence pattern at the airport yesterday but at first thought tights but were leggings. Saw some grey too but leggings with boots. No dress. Only shirt and jacket. Colors are great to liven up your look. Do it well!

I was at Target yesterday and they had tons in all colors of the rainbow, and lots were on sale too! Hope that helps
