Coloured tights

I have grey, purple and bright blue ones. The grey ones are the most versatile. I plan to wear them with a silky green dress.

Are denim skirts with colored tights a big no-no?

Have you tried it with tall boots & tights? I'm tall also and for me, if the dress is at least 16 inches from my waist, I can pull it off. However, the other challenge is finding great boots with under 2" heels, but that's another thread

lol Unfortunately I think the dress is impossible to wear as a dress now. I can't move forwards or backwards without it coming up and showing everything! And god forbid I bend over (or even crouch) to pick up something. It's still lovely none the less, and I'll probably still wear it. Only with shorts!

I think that's tricky. It depends how you dress the outfit, because I can imagine it either looking pretty hot or really tacky. Just be careful how you dress it.

leggings under a denim skirt is so tired at this point, in my opinion. it became such a fad in early 2006 that i think it will be difficult for you not to look passe. but maybe you could swing it, i don't know. i've just started to associate the look with middle schoolers who catch on to trends later than the rest of us, if that makes sense..

I actually like the white tights at Narciso Rodriguez which is kind of weird because Im in the healthfield... course they dont make you wear the white tights now a days lol.


I FINALLY wore my golded yellow tights. Half way through the day I realized that I had duck legs lol but I still love them & felt good in them.

Target now has their red & blue tights on clearance & Im considering getting one or both. I love the blue but Im not sure if I could pull them off. I have a Marc Jacobs bubble skirt thats blue with a red swirly flower print that I was thinking about wearing with red or blue tights but Im not sure.

I like it but not for myself. I love the dark colours. red/brown, dark purple etc.

lovely! I have tights pretty much that exact same color which i mentioned earlier in the thread.

Well I finally found them! My combination might be a bit much for some people but susie bubble kept talking about being dip dyed in color and i really like that thought. I also like how while they are similar colors they are a bit different to give some dimension....so anyway, me and my purple tights and purple dress!

I wore my purple tights today with a black dress to go shopping & buy 2 more pairs of tights lol. I got blue & red on clearance at Target for $2.98 if anyone is interested. They also have heathered grey & bright pink.

I finally wore some colored tights & really liked the result. My sister happened to wear purple tights, too (she's on the left, I'm on the right). Mine are DKNY & hers are Betsey Johnson. (Sorry if you already saw this in that What Are You Wearing Today thread!)

I bought a pair of red tights before the holiday season and I thought they were perfect for festive occasions like Christmas parties and such. I don't know if I did red tights as much justice as Blair Waldorf from GG does...but I tried to make it work!
