Constance Tianming Wu (born March 22, 1982) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Kathy on the web series EastSiders (2012–present) and as Jessica Huang in the ABC comedy series Fresh Off the Boat (2015–present). In 2017, Wu was included on the annual Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world.

Constance has been cast in the lead in Crazy Rich Asians, so she'll be everywhere this summer. She is a fantastic actress and a great advocate for women and more Asian voices in the entertainment industry. Plus, she is incredibly political and always has something insightful to say. I'm looking forward to seeing more of her work. She also has some fantastic beauty looks as well as red carpet choices.

It's a Vera Wang gown.

Constance and her stylist, Micaela Erlanger, chose this particular designer, because they felt that wearing a female Asian designer was appropriate for Constance's first major award show of the season: there is a Hollywood Reporter article on this. I love that they thought about all of what this means, but precisely because it is Constance's moment - as well as Crazy Rich Asians' - in the limelight, she should have dressed for it. The design is cute, but I don't quite love it.
