yeah thats the one i know it's not exactly the same but 4 some reason i think of the last year picture when seeing the new one i have no idea

i think it is so weird that cory is still able to get deals like she has for the hair mousse. i mean you'd think her time was up right?

Yeah!
I mean I just don't get at all how a 18-year-old girl with no talent at all (at least she doesn't earn money with it) have so much success.
It might be her collaboration with Nylon. I mean they sent her to NY Fashion Week and to London and make her 'their' girl.
But still it seems so totally senseless because she does nothing besides being at parties.

I like her but I simply think she gets fame which she just not deserves IMO.

....i don't wanna diss cory or anything but those sebastion whipped cream ads or whatever there called are soooooo photoshopped:innocent:

okay i just wanna know from anyone here how exactly did cory get famous i'm new cory fan or whatever u call it and i just wanted to know what nylon saw her on myspace and decided to make her a star.oh i so understand what you're saying and but for some reason i find her interstingand i just wanted to know where she'd come from....(long)

well what i read is that cory was at this blood brothers concert the other night, mark hunter aka cobrasnake took pictures of her and was simply enchanted, he uploaded them on his website and noticed that he suddenly got more hits.
so he took maaaany more pictures of her and his site was getting more and more attention, so he thought "why not go even further?" and he started to make her become a starlet.
he, cory and nylon somehow got in touch (mark did pictures for them, cory was an intern) and so nylon was also pushing cory to the top.
and then it all got her where she's now.

oh okay thanks honeybunches:p

Personally, I don't see how Cory is any different from "it girls" or socialites of the past and present who are just famous for being famous. If anything, I can appreciate how someone can take something as simple as being seen everywhere on a photography website and turn it into a career. I won't deny that I wish I could do the same thing. :innocent: Kudos to her for being able to get paid for having fun!

well actually i read that mark hunter is a marketing genius and cory kennedy seemed like a challenge to him. to get someone like her famous- for nothing.
and if we're honest, her blog is seriously not a brilliant read.

Well yes, I should admit that Mark is definitely the brains of the operation to have accomplished that much, and Cory was mostly just a "pretty face" (I guess, if you would call it that) that young girls all fell in love with. I think most people frequent her blog for the pictures, rather than the words. I'd never, ever expect Cory to be good with words. It would be a plus, of course, but it just doesn't happen in this case.
