To me the fact that Kylie Jenner was sandwiched between Cameron Diaz and Gwen stefani signals somewhat of an identity crisis and tbh none of then scream Cosmo Girl to me. Not to sound ageist but I've always pictured a cosmo girl to be a hot 20 something. Megan Fox, Kate Upton, even Lauren Conrad fits the bill more than the last three. That's what the magazine is about. There should be no shame in that.

True, the demographic is roughly 20-somethings, but I actually think the Cosmo reader are fans of these women. Gwen is probably releasing another album, and Cameron's recent films are all very youth oriented. That's enough to warrant a cover.

Same thing happened years ago when Gwen released her first solo album, she covered Seventeen and Teen Vogue and she was already 35, I think.

And Cosmo's Photoshop department makes every 40+ woman look 10 years younger, so age really doesn't matter that much.
