It seems almost anti-Cosmo to have her on the cover, because in this shot, she looks nothing like the typical airbrushed bimbo you get on the front, she looks harsh and confrontational.

It's a bad picture - but I like how it's turned out to be the antithesis of what we expect from Cosmo and from the singer herself - because if you were to imagine 'Lady Gaga on a Cosmo cover', the mental picture probably wouldn't look like this, people would expect something more extravagant.

Yep, absolutely. And the VNese edition followed the American edition's look. I prefer the Aussie and Brit's look.
