Yeah it does look Versace-esque and I actually can't wait to see Versace but I like this collection quite a bit and I usually haven't like costume National that much.

Apart from a few shirts that would be too femme (but are no less so than some of the Spring 05 tops), I like most of the individual pieces. I tend to love every winter Costume collection, but when I look at Spring/Summer, I find some great items, but rarely connect with the whole show. I also take refuge in the fact that most of the items will be available in black. So far, I'd definitely look into a pair of those shorts in black and the non-leather jacket in the first post. It'll be interesting to see how these pieces fit in with the whole collection.

Hum ... it seems that this collection is tapping on the romantic mood ... not for everyone .. but the shoes and bags are F-I-N-E (which is my Costume Natl fave thing season after season).
