Not as chic and cool as usual. A lot of this looks sloppy and the collection lacks direction. I don't think I've ever seen so many badly-tailored, unflattering looks in a Costume National collection before. The last part is especially bad. Disappointing!
The execution is very bad, completely deplorable! I presume it must be done on purpose, to give it a deconstructive style...but it looks horrible!
Anyway, some concepts and cuts are interesting.
is ennio capasa still at the design helm of the house? i actually don't mind this myself. it's really quite an homage to the deconstructive movement and certainly costume's sharper and sexier part in that revolution as well. it really does make you think about the days when he,demeulemeester,lang and jean colonna were all leading that particular part of the charge.
