cowboy boots have become very very fashionable lately. I  the look with mini skirts or tucked in jeans. Im dying to find good and somewhat cheap cowboy boots. Ive found many good used ones on ebay for those who want some vintage cowboy boots. I was wondering though if anyone knows where to get cheap, nice, cowboy boots. Ive been to kitson, they have such nice ones, but they were all around 400 bucks.
If anyone could please help me out, its a new fashion obsession i have:rolleyes: , but i cant afford buying a pair for more than 100 bucks. thanks in advance :D

Go to some thrift stores or look up a few sites that carry western boots.

I think there's a westernwearhouse.com, or try boot companies like Justin or Acme.

how about urbn.com? They had a sale on boots sometime back, I don't know if it's still available.
Or you can try ebay for vintage ones.

Mango made very nice cowboyboots this season. I love them, they are soft leather andvery femenine.

I am not a cowboy boot fan personally but I saw these and thought they were pretty cute and reasonably priced at $110, including shipping and considering they're brand new. I have no idea about the reputation of Zappos though as I am not from the u.s. :flower:

Ohhh cowboy boots. I love them...and as a Texan, it's very easy to find great vintage ones in shops around Houston.

My favorite boot brand is Frye, in fact, I just purchased these last weekend from Shopbop.com:

I'm sure you can find some on Ebay or Zappos. They have a bunch of pairs under $100.

Old School Fryes.

My mom had a pair back in the day. But gave them away or something. :grr:

here in the uk the whole cowboy boots thing is over, it was really big in autumn/winter last year ... but i love them i have 2 pairs of them  them 2 pieces ...

I wonder if are very own "cowboyboots" likes the real life boots ??? .... just a thort

WOW. I had no idea cowboy boots were that expensive. I mean I knew they were expensive, but my idea and others is not the same.:innocent: I got mine new and they were $85. (which I though WAS expensive., apparently not...I never pay that much for shoes). But I bought them a little over a yr ago--before the craze even started.... Oh why did it have to become a trend!!!! I hate that.

I just bought these boots on eBay for $66... I agree that the cowboy trend really hit it big last fall/this spring, but I live in Oregon, where girls are still peeing their pants over getting UGGS, so I doubt anyone will criticize. I plan on redoing my wardrobe for the late summer/fall in a style similar to Anna Sui's Spring 2005 Collection. Of course I can't afford her clothes (I am a student and struggling columnist...), but I plan to make and find a lot of similar things!

I digress.

Anyway, keep an eye on eBay-- I think you can find the best deals there!

^^^ those boots r great!! dont know if any of you guys have heard of a shoe store called X O T Shoes. They sell affordable designer (puma, steve madden...etc) shoes and i bought some durango cowboy boots from there and they were 150 bucks. i thought that was cheap compared to all the others i found that were 500 and up so i bought them and have been great and easy on my feet as well. i was obviously wrong and definetely could have found them cheaper but w/e...150 bucks to me is a SPLURGE considering that I too am a student struggling to get my masters....

thanks everyone. I guess im gonna try out a few of the thrift stores, keep searching ebay, and check out shopbop.com. Thanks again everyone for the help  it really helped! :flower:

I am THE cheapest when it comes to clothing, however I make an allowance for shoes cos I think it is important they are good quality. I allow 100 bucks, that's my limit and normally don't go over 60 if i can help it! :D

I bought mine from a flea market for 10€. I like them because they look like they have been in use. the leather is softer and they are really comfortable

This is just a little bit over $100.

From what I hear FryeBoots are good.

I would check out eBay....my friend was just on there last night buying three pairs of cowboy boots.

You could try some UK sites if you're prepared to pay delivery. Cowboy boots were really big over here not so long ago and I think a lot of places are still stocking them.

Cowboy boots are easy to find on eBay.. Just make sure you insert "vintage" for the desciption.. And the last time I saw some cute cowboy boots were in thrift stores like the Salvation Army... Too bad those weren't in my size...
